To all of the young men out there. Pursue your education as far as you can possibly take it! Your education is an investment. No matter what path you plan on taking, on some level you will need to educate yourself. This does not always mean that you will need a traditional approach. Becoming certified, licensed & developing a trade is all a form of education. Develop the knowledge that you feel will be useful in your life journey. With the new age of technology that we are all in, we all have access to education, there is no excuse! All you need is a phone, tablet, or computer and you have access to the world's largest bank of information: The Internet.
A mentor once told me when I was younger: "Receiving a healthy education is all in your mindset. You have to have a positive attitude towards learning." This means that when you have an opportunity to receive information in an educated environment, practice gratitude. When you are given a chance to expand your knowledge on a subject, practice diligence. And when you feel that you aren't learning at the pace that you desire, practice optimism. If you do these things whenever you encounter new information you are more likely to retain what is being shared.
Set yourself up for greatness.
Expand your mind.
Take advantage of any opportunities you have to learn.
